How to Set Prayer Notifications or Adhan?

If you’re having trouble enabling prayer or adhan notifications, follow this guide to set them up properly in the Ramadan Calendar App.

The app offers various types of notifications for the call to prayer (Adhan), allowing you to customize settings for each of the five daily prayers and sunrise.

Default Settings

Upon installation, the Adhan notifications for Fajr, Duhar, Asar, Maghrib, and Isha’ are enabled by default.

Enable or Change Notifications:

  1. From the Prayer Page:
    • Open the app and navigate to the [Prayer Times] page from the bottom menu.
    • Tap on the prayer time (e.g., Dhuhr or Asr) you wish to customize.
    • Select your preferred Adhan. A checkmark will appear to confirm your selection.
  2. From the Settings Page:
    • Go to [Settings] > [Notifications] > [Adhan].
    • Tap on the respective prayer time to choose or change the Adhan notification.
  3. Disable Adhan Notifications:
    • If you prefer not to receive Adhan notifications, you can disable them by selecting the silent option for specific prayer times.

Important Note

  • Notifications for Imsak cannot be customized.
